Sea Cloud II

Caribbean Cruise - Bridgetown to St Maarten

The Sea Cloud II combines the timeless elegance of windjammers of the past with the highest safety standards and the luxurious comfort of modern ships. She is the world's largest three-masted barque, the first newly constructed square rigger in decades. Since her launch in 2001 she has shared with her sister ship “the Sea Cloud” the honor of being the world's only cruise ship sailed by hand. The cabins and suites have the richest fabrics, woods and fine furniture. On board facilities include the exquisite restaurant, beautiful lounge, popular Lido bar on the sun deck, library and fitness centre.

Info

Tradition meets technology on the lush Sea Cloud II. A replica 20th century sailing ship, the vessel was designed in keeping with a popular 1908 guide to ship-building. From the moment you enter your cabin to find a complimentary bottle of champagne and fruit basket, you will know this is no ordinary sailing ship. Cabins are luxurious and inviting and feature such treats as decorative fireplaces and marble sinks.

When you are not relaxing in your cabin, you may enjoy a stress-relieving sauna, a workout in the fitness area, or, if you would prefer to exercise your mind, a lecture or presentation in the cozy Lounge. Enjoy a book from the library or the strains of the Steinway piano while unwinding in a comfortable arm chair with a cocktail or complimentary tea, coffee, soft drink or water.

After a day of ease, enjoy a delicious meal in the elegant restaurant, which was recently awarded entrance into the impressive International Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. Featuring nouvelle cuisine inspired by local specialties and accompanied by carefully selected, complementary wines and beers, sit back and relax while being served by gracious and accommodating staff.
