Juno

The Juno, originally launched in 1874, is now the world’s oldest registered ship with overnight accommodation. Travelling down Sweden’s canals on this boat is like stepping into another world. Renovated in 2003, the 29 cabins are nostalgically luxurious and tastefully fitted with brass details and handsome textiles. The bridge deck boasts a covered aft deck offering a perfect view in both sun and rain.

Info

Category A Cabin (Bridge Deck)

Wilhelm Tham Cabin

These cabins are located on Bridge Deck (the upper deck) and are furnished in keeping with the historic past of the ship. All Category A cabins have bunk beds, a washbasin and have a small window by the side of the door. This door opens onto the deck instead of the inside corridor, meaning you have to go outside in order to access the shared toilet and shower. You should note that the stairs to the bridge deck are quite steep. “Extras” for Category A include sparkling wine, fruit and a bathrobe in the cabin.

Amenities:

  • Champagne and Fruit Welcome
  • Shared Bathroom
  • Small window
  • Washbasin

Category B Cabin (Shelter Deck)

Wilhelm Tham Cabin

These cabins are located on Shelter Deck (the middle deck). On this deck you will also find the dining room and a small lounge. All Category B cabins have bunk beds, a washbasin and a small window by the side of the door, or in the cabin door itself. This door opens onto the deck instead of an inside corridor, so you do need to step outside to get to the shared bathrooms.

Amenities:

  • Shared Bathroom
  • Small window
  • Washbasin

Category C Twin Cabin (Main Deck)

Wilhelm Tham cabin

These cabins are located on Main Deck (the lower deck) with a centre aisle and inside passage to the shared toilets and showers. Category C Twin Cabins are furnished with bunk beds and a washbasin and have views through a small porthole.

Amenities:

  • Shared Bathroom
  • Small window
  • Washbasin

Category C Queen Bed Cabin (Main Deck)

juno

One of the Category C Cabins on Main Deck features a Queen Bed instead of the usual bunk beds. As with other cabins in Category C, access to the shared bathrooms is via an inside passage. The cabin is decorated in a traditional style, creating an ambiance of days gone by, with brass fittings and attractive textiles. Inside the cabin you will find a washbasin with hot and cold running water.

Amenities:

  • Shared Bathroom
  • Porthole
  • Washbasin
