Croatian Coastal Cruises (Deluxe Class)

Northern Gems Cruise from Split

The Croatian Coastal Cruise fleet offers relaxing, scenic cruises around the glittering Dalmatian coastline. The fleet comprises of six different categories of ship. The new Deluxe class boasts newer and larger vessels measuring between 42 to 47 metres in length and feature sleek designed, spacious en-suite cabins with air conditioning. Cabins come with either double or twin beds, 12 to 17 sq meters in size. Vessels of this category all feature spacious amenities including a sundeck, lounge and indoor and outdoor dining areas. Cruises on Category Deluxe also include Airport transfers, Captain's dinner with live music, additional dinner in a typical Croatian setting, all sightseeings, English speaking tour manager, various entrance fees, various tastings, Visitors' tax & port fees, luggage handling, daily cabin service and other special services on board.

Day 1: Split - Trogir

Board the ship in Split and check into your cabin, late arrivals can join in Trogir. After lunch, cruise to the old Dalmatian town, of Trogir, boasting a masterful collection of architecture including some stunning Venetian palaces. Join a guided tour of Trogir with a local tour guide. The old town is an UNESCO heritage site and there’s a great choice of bars and restaurants. Overnight in Trogir.

Day 2: Sibenikis

Today the ship arrives in the town of Sibenikis where you can enjoy a guided tour of the glorious old town Šibenik, including its many monuments and the UNESCO listed Cathedral of St James. Explore the historic old streets and attractive waterfront. Overnight in Šibenik.

Day 3: Krka Waterfalls - Vodice or Zlarin

Cruise towards Skradin then board a coach stopping at the he famous Bibich winery for wine tasting and light tapas lunch. Back in Skradin walk through the Krka Waterfalls National Park and visit “Skradinski Buk”, the most beautiful area of the falls. There are 17 waterfalls, with cascades up to 100 m wide. A never-to-forget experience is swimming under the falls so bring your swimming things and enjoy the crystal clear fresh water. Overnight in Vodice or Zlarin, depending on the state of the port and port authorities. Vodice are a typical Dalmatian town and Zlarin isa tiny island in the Šibenik archipelago.

Day 4: Vodice or Zlarin - Kornati - Sali

Today you will visit the Kornati National Park which is comprised of 100 islands and reefs. The islands are rich in fish and cultural and historic remains and you can discover the ruins of old Ilyrian fortress, Roman villas, the old Christian church of St. Mary and medieval fortresses. Overnight in Sali on Long Island.

Day 5: Sali - Zadar

Spend the morning enjoy a refreshing dip in the sea. In the afternoon, the ship departs for Zadar where you will spend the night in the port. Here you can join a guided tour of the city with a local tour guide. Zadar city is rich in monumental heritage including the Roman forum dating back to the 1st century AD, the church of St. Donatus from the 9th century AD –the most famous Medieval basilica and the symbol of the city, the mighty city walls with the representative Port and Land gates from the 16th century AD. Also numerous glorious palaces, and villas. There are many superb restaurants in the centre and by the waterfront. From historic places to the contemporary, don`t miss a visit to the famous Zadar Sea Organ and “The Greeting to the Sun” light installation, both are spectacular. Overnight in Zadar.

Day 6: Zadar - Rogoznica

During breakfast, the ship continues your journey towards Rogoznica. Lunch is served enroute followed by a stop in a quiet bay (known to the Captain!) for an afternoon dip. Moor overnight in Rogoznica,-a small village that offers many restaurants and small cafes. Perhaps sample the famous Babic wine that is made locally. Captain`s dinner with live music on board.

Day 7: Rogoznica - Split

Today you can enjoy a number of swim stops along the Split Riviera. In the afternoon, continue towards the last port of call while enjoying the fabulous views of Split Riviera’s coastline and islands. Join a guided tour of Split with a local tour guide. Split UNESCO World Heritage centre with fine examples of Roman architecture such as the Diocletian’s palace, built by the Roman emperor as his retirement home. Enjoy the evening wandering through parts of the palace and along Split’s famous waterfront. Overnight in Split.

Day 8: Split

After an early breakfast you will disembark the ship in Split.
