Fleur de Lys

  • Hotel barging

This unique barge was constructed as a freight vessel in 1941 and was commandeered by the Germans during the Second World War. She then underwent her transition to a passenger barge and today is one of the largest barges capable of navigating the older canals of France. Gracious elegance and laid-lack luxury make a journey on the Fleur de Lys the ultimate barging experience. With a stately lounge and large windows framing the passing countryside, this péniche-hôtel offers a most intimate cruise experience. Exceptional food and wines and the chance to join in local life are all highlights of a cruise on the Fleur de Lys. The barge gently travels the classic Burgundy route and is available to book as a full charter or on a cabin-by-cabin basis.
