Mexico Tourist Guide

Mexico has always been a popular destination for travelers looking to have fun in the sun, whether it is on the Pacific Ocean or the Indian Ocean. The country offers huge diversity, from sun-drenched seaside resorts to the ancient ruins of the Mayan civilization. For those travelers seeking adventure or relaxation there is something for everyone along the vast Mexican coastline.

Given the size of Mexico it is no surprise that it continues to be a popular tourist destination for visitors attracted by the diverse and exciting experience that the country offers. The country's friendly people, good food, and historic art and architecture provide a wealth of experiences for all who visit. The chaotic nature of the capital, Mexico City, contrasts with the colonial history of Oaxaca and the non-stop lifestyle of Cancun. Meanwhile, the tropical climate in the southeast of the country contrasts with the deserts in the northeast, offering a range of climates and landscapes. Meanwhile, the coastlines offer ample beaches, resorts and tropical jungles, from the small relaxed seaside town of Huatulco, to the sophisticated Acapulco with its 24-hour party scene.

With the country bordering both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, there is a large diversity for those wanting to experience Mexico from the water. The Southern Pacific coast with Acapulco as its oldest resort provides a mixture of tropical beaches and rich coastal jungles, interspersed with high energy seaside resorts, laid-back beach towns and charming fishing villages. On the east coast is the Mayan Riviera, home to the popular resort of Cancun and the classic ruins of Chichen Itza.
